Norfolk International Airport just made history with its first nonstop international flight in 25 years and locals are already celebrating.

This weekend, Cape Henry Lighthouse is hosting FREE whale watching walks as whales continue their southern migration and are sometimes spotted right off the coastline.

Whale sightings aren’t guaranteed, but let’s be honest… even the walk and ocean views alone make it worth it.

If you are not military affiliated, there will be a shuttle bus that brings you to the Lighthouse Visitor Center.

Virginia Beach Restaurant Week is officially underway, and this year it’s making history.

This is the biggest Restaurant Week VB has ever had, with nearly 70 restaurants participating (a record!) and chefs all over the city rolling out special menus designed to bring people out during the winter lull.
