The Weekly Scoop
🏀 Virginia Beach Coach Making Big Moves On and Off the Court
A local basketball coach is putting Virginia Beach on the map in a major way. David Cochrane, founder of the David Cochrane Basketball Academy, has developed a program that produces top athletes and future leaders right here at home.
What began with one parent asking for help training her children has grown into a full-time academy on London Bridge Road that now works with more than 700 athletes every month. Players range from six-year-olds to college stars, including Old Dominion University teammates and even NBA talent.
