Virginia Beach Restaurant Week Is Almost Here (and It’s the Best Excuse to Eat Out All Week)
If you’ve been needing a reason to plan a lunch date, try a new spot, or finally book that dinner reservation you keep talking about… this is it. 🙌🏼
Virginia Beach Restaurant Week is almost here, and it’s one of our favorite weeks of the year because it gives all of us permission to do what we do best in VB: eat well, support local, and make it a whole vibe.
It’s also the perfect time to explore restaurants you’ve never tried before, order something you normally wouldn’t, and discover a new “regular spot” that ends up in your monthly rotation.
And best of all? This event is powered by the Virginia Beach Restaurant Association, which means it’s not just about dining out. It’s about celebrating and supporting the people behind the food, the local staff, the small business owners, and the culinary talent that makes Virginia Beach such a foodie town.
So I’m giving you the ultimate “Restaurant Week resource” right here. Bookmark it, share it with friends, and use it to plan your week.

Why We Love Restaurant Week (and Why You Should Take Advantage)
Restaurant Week is basically the easiest way to experience the VB food scene without overthinking it.
Here’s what makes it so fun:
✅ Prix fixe menus make it easy to decide (and easier to budget)
✅ It turns “where should we go?” into “which of these are we trying first?”
✅ It’s a built-in excuse for group dinners, date night, lunch meetups, and girls night
✅ It’s one of the BEST ways to discover restaurants you’ve been meaning to try
And yes… we will 100% be posting our favorites, recaps, and must-try dishes all week, so if you want the inside scoop, stay close and follow VB Living. 😉

How to “Do Restaurant Week” Like a Local

A few quick tips from someone who treats Restaurant Week like an actual sport:
1) Pick 1 “New to You” Spot
Restaurant Week is the BEST time to finally try the place you’ve driven past 400 times.
2) Go With Friends Who Will Share
If your friends aren’t ordering different apps so you can try everything… are they even your friends?
3) Make a Plan Early
These restaurants get BUSY. Book it early, especially for prime dinner hours.
4) Follow Along for Real-Time Recommendations
VB Living will be posting what we’re ordering, what’s worth it, and what we’d go back for again.
Why Supporting VB Restaurant Week Matters

Restaurant Week isn’t just delicious… it’s meaningful.
These events bring business, buzz, and new customers to local restaurants and teams across Virginia Beach. The Virginia Beach Restaurant Association does an incredible job supporting this community and creating programs that celebrate local food.
So when you dine out this week, you’re doing more than treating yourself. You’re supporting:
local chefs
bartenders + servers
hosts + kitchen staff
family-run businesses
the entire VB food scene
And honestly… that’s the kind of support our city is known for.
